Dock lights are used offer a long life and low maintenance cost in loading dock applications. They are commonly used for industrial, manufacturing and warehousing applications.
Halogens are a brighter, whiter and longer lasting energy saving alternative to standard incandescent lamps. The thinner filament within a Halogen lamp is regenerated by gas which makes the lamp last longer, however causes it to run hotter.
