Its patent-pending hood design extracts 97% of the dust that the sander creates. Additional features such as Sandsmart™ feed control technology, tool-less parallelism adjustment, and Heavy Duty Steel Stand make this popular sander the most innovative in its class.
Switch to oscillating mode to experience the smooth, left-to-right oscillating drumhead. This effortless side-to-side motion while the drum is spinning prevents heat build-up on the sanding belt, reduces loading, and minimizes potential burning of sandpaper and wood. Plus, its patent- pending mirrored hood design extracts 97% of dust, optimizing dust collection and preventing chips from getting between your workpiece
and the finish.
Additional features include our innovative toolless parallelism system keeps adjustments simple, and the worktable is easily positioned by a turn of the parallelism dial. The SandsmartTM conveyer system continuously monitors the load on the drum motor to prevent an overload situation.
