MetalAce Covell Signature Series English Wheel - MA30-COVELL
Legendary metal shaper Ron Covell and MetalAce have teamed up on this English Wheel design. This sturdy floor mounted machine uses a 3-legged stance to ensure a solid feel on all floors and uses a front-mounted rubber foot for stability. A hidden retractable handle allows the user to tip the machine back on the rear casters and move it to the job easily. Covell's input is shown throughout the details of the machine: an oversized 3" jack is used that keeps the kickwheel low to the ground, the kickwheel itself has curved spokes to add some unique style, the standard set of 3" wide anvils each include their own axle and store conveniently in a tray, plus a rubber band for the upper wheel is provided for those complex metal shaping procedures.
MetalAce uses a powder-coated extra mar-resistant finish and completed the look with a special limited-edition serial number plaque and graphics. If you build hotrods, restore classics, create art from metal, or craft vintage aircraft panels this is the machine for you! Industry standard jack mechanism allows the upper wheel and lower anvil to be "trued", ensuring the wheels run perfectly parallel and provide equal pressure on the panel. In addition, a quick-release anvil yoke gets your material in and out quickly and establishes the same pressure used before the work was checked.
Construction from 3 x 4 x 1/4" wall tubing gives this machine the strength to form 12 gauge steel! Proudly made in the USA, ships truck freight.
