SWAG Off Road | "Tube" Dimple Die Set (SMALL) (1/2", 3/4", 1") - DDS

The SWAG Tube Dimple Die Set (Small) includes the 1/2", 3/4", and 1" sizes, designed for both cosmetic applications and improving the rigidity of plate steel. Capable of dimpling up to 3/16" steel, these dies are perfect for off‑road fabrication, race cars, hot rods, and custom automotive projects.

Made in the USA from domestic steel, each die is CNC machined from 4140 quenched and tempered chromoly steel with a tensile strength of 150,000 KSI. Every die features a through‑hole drilled into both the male and female halves, allowing multiple setup options:

1. Use in an H‑frame hydraulic press. Drill the appropriate size hole with a standard hole saw, insert the dies, and press with the hydraulic cylinder to flare the metal.
2. Bolt together using Grade 8 fasteners (3/4" or 7/16" bolts depending on die size). This method is ideal for large panels or dimpling directly on a vehicle.
3. Press together with a 10 Ton Hydraulic Knockout Punch Driver. This setup is a time‑saver for multiple dimples or hard‑to‑reach areas.

For projects requiring holes close together, position the dies carefully so the outside diameters do not overlap.

Outside Diameter Specifications:
- 0.500" die = 1.20" OD
- 0.750" die = 1.45" OD
- 1.00" die = 1.95" OD
- 1.25" die = 2.40" OD
- 1.50" die = 2.70" OD
- 1.75" die = 3.17" OD
- 2.00" die = 3.40" OD
- 2.50" die = 4.20" OD
