Walter Surface Technologies PNEUMATIC DRUMS
The Pneumatic Drums put a cushion of air between your abrasives to eliminate edge cutting and swirl marks. Increase abrasive life by reducing heat build-up and allowing for more flexibility.

Application :
These pneumatic drums are designed for use with Line-Mate finishing tools and are ideal for:
- Line finishing: Creating consistent grain patterns on metal surfaces.
- Surface blending: Smoothing welds and transitions.
- Stainless steel work: Especially effective due to reduced heat buildup.
- Edge protection: The air cushion minimizes swirl marks and edge cutting.
- Abrasive longevity: Air cushioning reduces heat, extending abrasive life.
Technical Tips :
- Replace the rubber bladder periodically to extend the drum’s service life.
- Check and replace the valve as needed to maintain consistent air pressure.
- Verify that your tool’s arbor thread matches the drum (M14 or 5/8"-11) to ensure compatibility.
- Always confirm that your tool’s RPM does not exceed the drum’s maximum rated RPM to prevent damage or injury.
