- High precision, solid one piece steel construction.
- Body and jaws are hardened to 58-62 Rc.
- Moveable jaw is pulled into base between 45 and 60 degrees, insuring maximum holding power and hold down force, eliminating tilting & lifting.
- Ratchet mechanism with notched pockets and solid drawbar in all 7-1/2 x 3 x 2-5/8" vises.
- Angular center channel provides extra jaw capacity.
- Jaw can be opened and closed without unbolting from work surface.
- End pockets for convenient clamping in all models except 5-7/8 x 2 x 2" vise.
- All small precision vises have ground vertical & horizontal vees in moveable jaw.
- The large precision vises have side slots for additional clamping options.
- Sine system models bolt directly to the sine system sine plates, compound sine plates and angle plates. *) With 1/8 x 1/8" steps in jaws, ground vees in top of jaws and 2 hold-down clamps included.
