APT Tri-Lead Indexable Boring Bars & Sets
- Internal Turning
- Furnished in (4) lengths: (3) for boring, (1) extra for lathe work
- Made of tempered alloy steel for proper boring rigidity.
- Chipbreaker feature of bar breaks chip into small tight rolls.
- Cartridges are hardened to Rc 60 - 64 and ground to +.0005" accuracy to assure proper seating of cutting insert.
- Cutting inserts can be indexed or replaced without loss of hole size or depth.
- Flat sides on bar can be mounted in square lathe turrets or in round holes providing three point suspension for maximum rigidity.
- Coolant Use: No
- Lead Angle: 85°-95°
- All bars complete with (1) CP-0 cartridge, (1) clamp, (1) chipbreaker, (1) cartridge shim and (1) cutting insert.
- Bars use standard 3/8" I.C. triangular inserts.
- Accepts TPG32_ TPGR32_ TPMR32_ TPU32_
