The Optiflex MLX-3000 is a Computer based optical inspection and measurement system Manufactured by Flexbar in the USA, this system is available in multiple stage sizes including 8" x 4", and 12" x 12".

A granite base and vertical Z-column makes this system sturdy and robust, able to withstand the rigors of either the shop floor or inspection lab. Whether in use for precise real time measurements, or as a featured tool in any inspection department, the Optiflex MLX-3000 system offers measurement resolution down to 0.5 microns with accuracies better than 0.0002”/0.002mm.

The MLX-3000 is easily upgradeable to perfectly suit your needs and application with the following upgrades:

Upgrade No. 18-BLF – Bottom Lighting

• This additional lighting, much like any standard comparator, is recommended for improved external edge detection and is commonly featured in almost any application.

Upgrade No. 12360-UP – Upgrade light boxes to LED lights

This upgrade takes the base halogen lights and upgrades them to LED lights. LED lights allow for:

• Higher color temperature
• Improved view and illumination
• Lower heat generation
• Longer light life expectancy

Upgrade No. 18-TwinArmUp – Twin Arm Upgrade

• This upgrade features the mounting of monitors and keyboard onto twin arms connected to the granite base. This allows some of the equipment to be removed from the bench top and reduces the footprint of the assembly.

Upgrade No. 18-UP2/3 – Added 3rd Axis scale

• This upgrade allows for three dimensional measurement, a calibrated Z axis to combine with the X/Y Axis of the base two-dimensional inspection.

Upgrade-DXF-FOV-UP – Software upgrade to allow for DXF importing

• This software upgrade is only available for systems upgraded to MLX-3000 and allows for the importing of pre-existing .dxf files for a comparative style of inspection. This includes a live error whisker display for part violations of the original DXK tolerance zones.
