Interstate Expanding Mandrels
- The expanding mandrel consists of two parts - a tapered arbor and a flexible sleeve
- Usually seated with an arbor press
- Sizes within a range may be obtained by moving the sleeve along the arbor
- Sizes 1/2" through 7/8" have one sleeve, sizes 1" through 2" have two sleeves
- Mandrels are hardened and ground
